Flashing software

In the downloads section there is the software (which is also from the sonyericssonserver site) to flash phones. Also here are the flash files themselves. Do you therefore still need to buy credits from them to be able to use this software or not?

Want to test the procedure on my old T65 before i risk anything i actually use.

Anyone got a walkthru or guide to doing this correctly? (i do have a T28 serial cable)

Hi,

You will still need credit's to flash your phone. This is because you need the server to calculate the required info to put your phone into service mode and that uses a credit each time.

If anyone else want's a walkthrough I'll take some screenshots today (I've got about 8 T610's to flash) and make a guide on flashing and unlocking.

Right, thats a bit of a pain really. cos they will only now accept western union payment for credits (according to one of their sales contacts).

They have cancelled online payment methods....so if you know anywhere else to get credits from then that would be usefull to know too

Also, any idea when u might be getting the T610 modem/Bluetooth flash file ... didn't seem to on the site.

You can get credit's using any payment method you want from me, or rather through my work (logosunlimited)

I have the ARM (modem) files for the T610 but as they can't be used yet I haven't uploaded them. Currently ARM flashing on T610 requires a different cable (that can't be bought) so to avoid confusion I have left it off the site.

The software author is working on another version that will enable ARM flashing over a standard cable and by using just one credit, fingers crossed it won't be to long :?

Ahhh cool...i actually just bought the T28 serial cable from you guys!

So i guess i'll wait until this new version comes out before i try anything on my T610...nice to know i can get them from you guys rather than some individual in egypt, little more secure.

Would the current version be ok to flash a T68i and a T65? or will this also require new software or "special" cable? If these can be flashed now i might get some credits to do them with.

Spoke to Murphy earlier, he seems to be making progress towards resolving the ARM issue so that's good 8)

I'm prety sure you would need the *new* cable to do a complete T65 firmware upgrade, though I forgot to ask him earlier. I use the DIV hardware at work for upgrading so I'm not 100% sure if your T68i and T65 could be upgraded with Total software.

If you ever want credits just send a paypal to webmaster@logosunlimited.co.uk and as long as it's in UK office hours you should get the user/pass back within 30 minutes.
