PUK

My SIM card has two pin numbers. One was provided to me, the second was not. Unfortunately, I attempted to guess the second pin number and now my SIM card is blocked.

Is there a way to figure out what the PUK number is? So I can reset my pin number? Do I have to go to my carrier to get this done?

Sorry for the late reply! PUK codes can only be obtained from your provider I'm afraid :(

and after 10 wrong tries the sim card is destroyed.

when u get your sim card, normally that should come with the unique PUK number... or just ring the service provider ask for the PUK number lar... dont try !!! you only get 10 times to try, after that, the card would destory for ever, then you need to pay for to get a new sim card....

Thanks for the reply. I called my provider and they gave me the puk codes. There are two Pin numbers for the network I am using (Rogers) and there are two puk codes.

The technician said I only get 5 tries before the SIM card is destroyed. He told me that if the puk didn't work, there was another code that I can obtain from the manufacturer that will get me access into the SIM.

Fortunately for me. The puk worked.
