Upgrading an AT&T T616

I have looked through the site, read the summary in the content section for the T610, but I want to just make sure I am completely up to date.

I want to upgrade my T616 to the latest generic firmware. It came with the R1A054 firmware.

Can someone verify how I would update this phone? It is already unlocked. I successfully completed that today.

Do I need to do both the AVR and the Modem or just the GDFS? That part is confusing right now. Once I get that, I am sure I will be all set.

Since there are no bites on this one...how about what is the latest release of the AT&T Firmware?

I had my phone flashed with R1S001. This firmware was made specifically made for T-Mobile. I had the T-Mobile customizations removed. I am using the phone in Canada on the Rogers network.

I am sure you can find someone in the States to do the same. This firmware is floating around. If I had a way to extract it from my phone, I would gladly post it.
