View Full Version : Locating A T28 Cable from a cheap and trustworthy vendor?

Hi!

Great site, it's taken me quite a while to read everything to figure out exactly what I need to do to get rid of this Vodafone crap. I'm thinking I might write an FAQ for people later on, because it is very hard for a beginner to learn the flash stuff. The guide that's written is very good, but it doesn't go into any detail about what sofware you need and going into the downloads section there's about 20 different files!
Anyway. I'm fairly sure I've got that sussed out now.

Now I just need a T28 cable. I'm in New Zealand! Any suggestions? Anyone here from Australian bought one? I'm loath to source one from the UK, because the cost of shipping was insane.

I refuse to give up though, I've done lots of digging about getting rid of the Voda crap from my phone and I'm going to do it! I've been told that all T610 phones sold in NZ are Voda customised and that's that!

Thanks people!

Tim

I've bought one from TrendyFone (http://www.trendyfone.com) at low cost. The international shipping is cheap and the service is very good. I received it two days after the order!

Go to section "SonyEricsson Unlocking", the T28/68 unlocking cable is near the bottom of the page.

Many thanks! I've just ordered one now, we'll see how long it takes to get to NZ! And it was cheap too!

Thanks again!
