hello people,
i'm new here and i was wondering if i could ask some questions.
i know someone who is selling me a defective t610. the problem with the unit is that it hangs on start up. it's a vodafone series phone bought in singapore. Apparently the problem started when the unit froze when he installing/downloading some applications. He apparently went to a service center and had the unit re-"flashed" but it didn't work, then he went to the official SE service center and they said they couldn't repair it yet as the software won't be available until jan 2003. they said that the software would be coming from Spain. i live in the philippines and i'd really like to have a t610 but my budget is tight right now. is there a way to fix this problem? i've browse through your files and found some firmware, do these things work on the problem of the phone? i don't know all the details of the phone yet, what do i need to ask to ascertain the extent of the problem of the unit.
thank you very much.
nice to have a forum like this.

try to flash the firmware in your phone...just download a s/w called DIV8.2 CRACKED, and download the firmware for T610 from the download section on your left hand side... If it is a software problem, that should be fixed by now...

Hi,

If it's hanging I would flash the GDFS area first.
